Sodium diethyldithiocarbamate, also known as sodium diethylaminocarbamate, is an organic compound with the chemical formula (CH3CH2) 2NCSSNa·3H20. It is a white crystalline powder, soluble in water, soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, insoluble in ether, benzene, mainly used as a sensitive reagent for copper, can also be used for the determination of zinc, cobalt, platinum, palladium, etc.
